Review and export documents

When you ask Olyvr to write something, it creates a draft in the document panel beside the chat instead of pasting text into the conversation.

Every draft and every edit arrives as a proposed change:

  • New text appears as an insertion; replaced text shows as a deletion and an insertion.
  • Accept or Reject each change, or use Accept all / Reject all.
  • Your decisions are saved. Reopen the chat later and the review state is still there.

Ask for changes in the chat (“make the second paragraph shorter”) and the agent proposes edits to the same draft. Each edit targets a specific passage, so it can’t silently rewrite parts you didn’t ask about.

If the draft changed elsewhere since the agent read it, for example because you edited it, Olyvr refuses to apply stale changes and asks you to reload.

Word drafts open in a built-in editor, so you can type, format and save without leaving Olyvr. Saving keeps the document’s formatting. If a save fails, Olyvr keeps your changes and lets you retry or save a copy.

Type Notes
Document Full review and Word editing
Spreadsheet Partial Created as rows with formulas kept on export. Cell-level review is in progress.
Deck Partial One slide per section. Visual layout and templates are in progress.
Email A draft for you to copy. Olyvr never sends it.
Text file Markdown, plain text, HTML, JSON, YAML or XML
Draft type Export formats
Document Word (.docx), PDF, Markdown, text
Spreadsheet Excel (.xlsx), CSV, Markdown, text
Deck PowerPoint (.pptx), Markdown, text

Use the Clean / Redline toggle before exporting:

  • Clean exports the document with your accepted changes applied.
  • Redline exports a Word file with tracked changes (insertions and deletions attributed to “Olyvr”) that you can review in Microsoft Word or LibreOffice.

PDF export is simple and text-focused, so it doesn’t keep the full layout. Export to Word for the most faithful result.

The editor works offline. Common Office fonts are shown with metric-compatible substitutes, for example Carlito for Calibri and Liberation Serif for Times New Roman, so line breaks may differ slightly from Microsoft Office.
